[REC]

Saw a spanish zombie movie recently which I thought was fairly class. It was called [REC] and was subtitled in English so if you can deal with that then I'd definitely suggest watching it. It's filmed in the same style as Paranormal Activity and The Blair Witch Project in that it is recorded, no pun intended, seemingly by the characters in the movie. The basic jist of the story is that a spanish TV crew which are filming a programme called 'while you are sleeping' go to a fire station to document the lives of the firemen there. The fire station gets a call about an incident at an apartment complex and the TV crew decides to go with the firemen on duty to try and get a bit of material for their show, little do they know of the horror that awaits them.

Week 8

There's only four more weeks of classes left before the exams. Slightly nervous, hopefully will be ready for the exams though. Computer architecture and programming are the 2 modules I think that I'll find most difficult. The lab sheets that need to be completed for computer architecture are particularly difficult, I have the first three completed and I have yet to finish the other three lab sheets. There's also a programming assessment that needs to be handed up for the 20th of November and I'm finding it fairly complicated. Going to try and get that out of the way before the end of next week. It'll probably be ok once i have it started. Anyway, that's the current state of affairs. I'll try find time to write another blog before the end of this week. Bu-Bye

C.I.T Project

Trying to get my head around what is needed in the project for Creativity, innovation and teamwork. Not sure if I fully understand it, but sure I'll give it my best shot, gonna have to because it's due this friday.

My job is that of a Technical lead, so, trying to gather as much information as possible on what that actually is and still fairly unsure....I have the cover letter and c.v pretty much sorted, need to find a company to write about now. So I'm gonna have to love ya and leave ya.

Computing Year one.

Just began a course in computing in C.I.T. In the first semester we study six modules, computer architecture, programming fundamentals, networking fundamentals, statistical calculations, Algorithmic Problem Solving and the module that i'm writing this blog for, Creativity, Innovation and Teamwork. Everything seems to be alright so far anyway, bit early to tell what it's going to be like. There's a student exchange programme called Erasmus that was mentioned last week, which involves studying in a European country for a year (or part of), the three places that seem most appealing to me at the moment are Amsterdam, Helsinki and Stolkholm. I've been to Helsinki and Amsterdam before, both of which were a laugh, for different reasons entirely....I'll leave it to your imagination. So ya, must find out more about that because a change of scenery is much needed. Any who I'm gonna leave it at this because my brain is melting trying to think of things to write.... Bu-Bye
